Promotional Executive Gifts For The Bosses

I hate it when people here in the office kiss the bosses’ ass to get their attention. When I saw a couple of guys giving valentines gifts to my lady bosses, I realized that some people prefer getting on the boss’ good side rather than doing their job efficiently. This is not a joke, and it’s getting in my nerves.

There was one time when somebody gave some promotional executive gifts to the manager. It was so unreal! This guy always leaves the work way too early and he doesn’t get the reports done. Now look at him! The boss feels like he’s the workhorse in the office! He recently gave him two days off, thinking that he needs a rest for all the long hours he spent here. That was the most naïve person I ever knew.

Even people outside the office do this. Just last week, the guy we hired to purchase some computers for us gave the supervisor a basket full of apparel promotional executive gifts, apparently for her wedding. It was so obvious. He just did it because he failed to deliver the purchases on time.

It’s quite saddening to see people do these things, giving gifts and all that crap.  Well, who can blame them? Companies that wanted to do projects with us usually give the bosses auto accessories promotional executive gifts. In return, we give them better treatment. It might happen unknowingly, but it’s a reality here. This will not change any time soon. Nevertheless, I’ll keep on waiting til that day comes.
